Add tax

Total = tax-free price x (1 + rate / 100)

Remove tax

Tax-free price = tax-included total / (1 + rate / 100)

Tax amount

Tax = tax-free price x rate / 100

Quick example

Starting from Rs 100, a 18% rate gives Rs 18 in tax and Rs 118 total.

Starting from Rs 118, the tax-free amount is Rs 100 and the tax is Rs 18.
